In the interbank foreign exchange market, the US dollar rose to the level of 41.18-41.22 UAH/$.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar for the second day in a row. The Ukrainian currency strengthened against the euro. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Thursday, October 10.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.2072 (+0.0138 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 45.0477 UAH (-0.0797 UAH).
On the interbank market, the American currency rose by only 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close – 41.18-41.22 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 4 kopecks to UAH 41.49.
We remind you that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, from the beginning of 2024, the regulator sells more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to one – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
