In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 1 kopeck – 41.16-41.20 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine slightly raised the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after a one-day pause. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, October 9.
Thus, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.1934 UAH per dollar (+0.0178 UAH). In turn, the euro continued its weekly decline and tomorrow was worth UAH 45.1274 (-0.1163 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 1 kopeck – 41.16-41.20 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – compared to the previous day’s closing.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate remained at yesterday’s level – up to 41.43 UAH.
We remind you that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, from the beginning of 2024, the regulator sells more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
