The National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate for the third day in a row

In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by only 1 kopeck – up to 41.29-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).

The National Bank of Ukraine has again reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar. This trend continued for the third day, according to data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, October 2.

The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.2755 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0279 UAH). The euro is worth 45.7147 UAH (-0.0041 UAH).

In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by only 1 kopeck – up to 41.29-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.

In the cash market, the dollar is stable and its average rate has not changed – 41.50 UAH.

Let’s recall that in September the National Bank increased the sale of foreign currency by almost 20% in the interbank market – up to $3.2 billion.

Also last month, the NBU left the discount rate unchanged at 13% per annum for the second time in a row.
