UZ cargo transportation grew by more than 24% in eight months

The tariff cargo turnover reached 76,695.58 million ton kilometers, which is 31.7% more than in 2023 (58,222.04 million ton kilometers).

According to statistical reporting Ukrzaliznytsiain January-August 2024, 118 million tons of cargo were transported, which is 24.3% more than the same period in 2023 (95 million tons). In August 2024, the traffic volume reached 14.2 million tons, which also increased by 15.5% compared to August 2023. CFTS wrote this on Wednesday, October 2.

The financial plan for August is 13.8 million tons. In domestic traffic, 53.4 million tons of cargo were transported in eight months, which is 3.6% less than in 2023 (55.4 million tons).

At the same time, export traffic increased to 57.74 million tons (+65.8%), compared to 34.8 million tons in 2023. Imports reached 6.6 million tons (+57.1%), and transit – 0.3 million tons ( -40.0%).

In August, transit traffic decreased by 16.7% to 0.05 million tons, while imports increased by 50% to 0.9 million tons. Domestic cargo transport decreased by 19.3% in August.

The tariff cargo turnover reached 76,695.58 million ton kilometers, which is 31.7% more than in 2023 (58,222.04 million ton kilometers). In August 2024, tariff cargo turnover increased by 27.2% – to 9,047.92 million ton kilometers.

The average daily load volume for January-August 2024 reached 450.22 thousand tons, and in August increased by 13.1%. Financial plan for August 2024 – 427.10 thousand tons.

Earlier, the Federation of Employers said the tariffs were unjustified Ukrzaliznytsia.

We remind you that at Ukrzaliznytsia said that they earned more than 3 billion Hryvnia in six months, but in July and August the company faced losses in the range of 600-700 million Hryvnia per month.
