One of Europe’s largest arms conglomerates, KNDS, has established a subsidiary company, KNDS Ukraine LLC, in Kyiv. The new enterprise will provide effective maintenance and repair of weapons actively used by the Ukrainian military. This was reported by the company’s press service.
The press service clarified that in October the company opened a subsidiary, KNDS Ukraine LLC, in Kyiv.
The company noted that Ukraine uses or contracts nearly 800 weapons on the front line, as well as ammunition produced by the French-German association, making it one of the most important partners in the industry.
In addition, the company will help the Ukrainian industry to better perform maintenance, repair and overhaul of weapons produced by the company.
We are specifically talking about Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks, CAESAR and PzH 2000 artillery mounts, and AMX 10RC armored vehicles.
KNDS, together with Ukrainian industry, intends to produce 155-mm artillery ammunition and spare parts for them in Ukraine.
