The National Bank of Ukraine has increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia for the second time in a row. The euro exchange rate dropped significantly, according to data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, October 1.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.2476 (+0.0277 UAH). And the euro is worth 45.7106 UAH (-0.4433 UAH).
Today, on the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 9 kopecks – to 41.28-41.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks to UAH 41.50.
Let’s recall that in September the National Bank increased the sale of foreign currency by almost 20% in the interbank market – up to $3.2 billion.
Also last month, the NBU left the discount rate unchanged at 13% per annum for the second time in a row.
