In the interbank market, the American currency fell another 3 kopecks – to 41.14-41.17 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar. This trend continues for the third consecutive day, according to data on the regulator’s website on Friday, September 27.
The official dollar exchange rate on the last day of the current month is set at UAH 41.1664 (-0.0421 UAH). The exchange rate of the euro also decreased slightly – 45.9541 UAH (-0.0057 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell another 3 kopecks – to 41.14-41.17 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar lost 10 kopecks in value – 41.40 UAH.
As RBC-Ukraine notes, as a result, in September the dollar exchange rate remained almost unchanged (decreasing by 0.1%). Although in early autumn, in market conditions, it almost always grows. Since the beginning of the year, the dollar exchange rate has increased by 8.4% (from 37.98 UAH/dollar on December 31, 2023).
Earlier in September, the dollar rose for eight consecutive days and was approaching a historic high. In turn, the single European currency set a new historic record last week.
