At the end of the 23/24 marketing year (September 2023-August 2024), Ukraine exported 691.8 thousand tons of sugar, of which 77% were sent to EU countries, 23% to the world market. This was reported by the National Association of Sugar Farmers of Ukraine Ukrsakhar.
This is reported to be about 60% more than in the past, when Ukraine had a temporary ban on sugar exports.
