The regulator raised the dollar’s exchange rate for the seventh consecutive day, although the price of the American currency fell slightly on the interbank market.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, September 17.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.4100 (+0.0509 UAH). The American currency is growing for the seventh day.
In turn, the euro exchange rate on Wednesday will be 46.1245 UAH (+0.1166 UAH).
On the interbank market, the American currency fell by 2 kopecks to 41.46-41.48 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
Meanwhile, in the cash market, the dollar exchange rate jumped by 25 kopecks to UAH 41.85.
Earlier it became known that in August international reserves of Ukraine increased by 13.7% (by $5.096 billion) to $42.331 billion. They bounced back after falling for four straight months.
