The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to 41.60 UAH, the euro exchange rate increased to 46.20 UAH.
The hryvnia exchange rate fell sharply against the dollar and the euro at exchange offices at the beginning of the new working week. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to market tracking data as of Monday, September 16.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks, to 41.60 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate increased by 20 kopecks, to 46.20 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 41.10 UAH, and euros for 45.50 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.35-41.38 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Earlier on Monday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia for the fifth day in a row – 41.3171 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0428 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.7959 UAH (+0.3364 UAH).
Earlier it became known that in August international reserves of Ukraine increased by 13.7% (by $5.096 billion) to $42.331 billion. They bounced back after falling for four straight months.
