The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine remained at 41.40 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell to 45.85 Hryvnia.

The hryvnia exchange rate stabilized against the dollar in the cash market and slightly strengthened against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Wednesday, September 11.

So, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine remained at UAH 41.40, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks to UAH 45.85.

Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 40.90 UAH, and euros for 45.15 UAH.

In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.12-41.14 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 6 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.

Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate for the second day in a row – 41.1400 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0452 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.3774 UAH (-0.0056 UAH).

The head of the NBU, Andriy Pyshny, following the negotiations with the IMF, said that the regulator will move towards greater flexibility of the hryvnia exchange rate to the dollar, but control over the exchange rate will remain.

“The exchange rate will continue to act as a shock absorber and help the economy adapt to internal and external changes,” he said.

According to him, the policy of the NBU, combined with managed flexibility, will continue to prevent excessive fluctuations and loss of control over inflation and exchange rate expectations.

Earlier it became known that in August international reserves of Ukraine increased by 13.7% (by $5.096 billion) to $42.331 billion. They rose up after being rejected for four straight months.
