The next step for the partners in this transaction is the creation of a unified telecommunications platform.
On Monday, September 9, an agreement was completed on the acquisition of Datagroup-Volia and lifecell companies by the investment company NJJ Holding, owned by French investor Xavier Niel. This was stated in a joint press release of the companies.
The next step for the partners in this transaction is the creation of a unified telecommunications platform.
“NJJ, Horizon Capital under the leadership of Elena Kosharna and Mikhail Shelemba, CEO of Datagroup-Volia, will combine Datagroup-Volia and lifecell to create a converged telecommunications platform,” the release said.
An important milestone for the unified platform is the signing of documents and the provision of a joint financial package with $435 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
We remind you that on July 25, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) approved the application for the purchase of the Ukrainian operator lifecell by the French company DVL Telecom.
