In a speech of thanks at this year’s edition of The Fact Music Awards, held last weekend, NewJeans mentioned the former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jinthanking the support and protection of the businesswoman who was responsible for launching the careers of the group’s members, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein.
At the awards ceremony that recognizes key contributors to the Hallyu wave, NewJeans won four categories: Artist of the Year (Bonsang), Best Artist in the World, Global Icon and the MUSINSA Popularity Award. When accepting the awards, Danielle gave a short speech, where he addressed Hee Jin still as CEO.

It is worth remembering that Hee Jin was removed from the leadership of ADOR, the agency that manages NewJeans’ career, on August 27, when the position of CEO of the company was taken over by Kim Joo Youngan HR (human resources) specialist. The decision came after months of conflict between the businesswoman and HYBE, the conglomerate of which ADOR is a subsidiary.
Furthermore, with the new contract established, Hee Jin will only produce NewJeans for two more months. Among other changes that have arisen with the new management is the removal of the director Shin Woo Seokresponsible for the production company Dolphiners Films, which produced the MVs for the group’s “Ditto” and “ETA”, which, in addition to no longer working with the agency, will no longer have new projects with the quintet.
