The Toncoin cryptocurrency, founded by Pavel Durov and used in Telegram, fell sharply in price after the news of the arrest of its co-founder in France. This is confirmed by data from cryptocurrency price tracking site CoinMarketCap.
The price drop started around 23:45-23:50 on August 24, when the first news about the detention of Telegram founder Pavel Durov at Le Bourget airport began to emerge.
In almost 12 hours, the price of Toncoin dropped from $6.72 per coin to $5.38 per coin, in other words, by 20%. Cryptocurrency keeps falling.
