In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 4 kopecks – to 41.34-41.36 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine cut the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia after three days of growth. But the euro exchange rate continued to grow and once again updated its historical record, according to data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, August 21.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.2975 UAH per dollar (-0.0484 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 45.8980 UAH (+0.0785 UAH). This is a new all-time high. The previous one was recorded yesterday, August 21 – 45.8195 UAH.
On the interbank market, the American currency fell by 4 kopecks to 41.34-41.36 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar fell by 5 kopecks to UAH 41.50. The euro rose in price by 5 kopecks – up to 45.90 UAH.
We remind you that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
