In the Dnepropetrovsk region, the company’s repair teams managed to restore a number of damaged networks and restore power to 12.6 thousand families.
DTEK noted that power engineers are doing everything possible to eliminate the damage as soon as possible – they started work immediately after receiving permission and access to the place of damage from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
It was previously reported that in the first half of 2024, Rinat Akhmetiov’s company allocated about UAH 1.5 billion for the repair of thermal power plants. According to the company’s general director, Maxim Timchenko, by 2024, the Russians destroyed or damaged 90% of DTEK’s thermal power plants.
