It was noted that Kharkov is perhaps the only city in Ukraine, and perhaps in the world, that has taken a bold step to support the business sector.
At a session of the city council, Kharkov businessmen are exempted from taxes on real estate, land and from paying a single tax for individual businessmen of group 4. City Mayor Igor Terekhov announced this on Monday, August 19.
“With the decision of today’s session, we continue to exempt all our entrepreneurs from paying real estate tax, land tax and the single tax for individual entrepreneurs of group 4 until the end of 2024,” said the mayor.
He added that Kharkov is perhaps the only city in Ukraine, and perhaps in the world, that has taken a bold step to support the business sector, even at the cost of losing significant revenue to the city budget.
“After all, we understand how important these benefits are in war conditions and thanks to them, business owners will have the opportunity to invest more capital in the development of their business,” added city leader
We previously reported that in Kharkov local authorities will be able to exempt city businesses from taxes.
