On August 14, the rate officially set by the regulator was 41.34 UAH/dollar and 45.19 UAH/euro, respectively.
The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday, August 15, set the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia at 41.32 UAH/USD compared to 41.34 UAH/USD. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, August 14.
The National Bank strengthened the national currency against the dollar by 2 kopecks.
At the same time, the hryvnia fell in price against the euro. Thus, the official NBU exchange rate for the euro is set at 45.55 UAH/euro compared to 45.19 UAH/euro, that is, the hryvnia fell in price by 36 kopecks.

We remind you that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
It was also reported that over the past week the structural deficit of foreign currency decreased in the interbank market – the NBU sold $784.63 million. This is 17.4% lower than last week.
