Currently, 621 companies have been removed from the “Russian trace” in the form of owners since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Since the beginning of the mass war in Ukraine, 621 companies have lost their owners from Russia. This is 220 more companies than in August last year, according to the data Opendatabota.
It is noted that since the beginning of the war in Ukraine there has been a ban on changing registration data on companies with owners from Russia, except for some cases clearly specified by law.
However, there are also predetermined violations, in relation to which three desk audits of registration actions have already been scheduled for seven companies. If the change in these companies related to owners with Russian citizenship is illegal, the notary or registrar who performed these actions expects the application of penalties provided for the standards of current law.
In total, as of February 2022, more than 18 thousand companies have Russian owners.
Let’s remember that citizens from more than 100 countries established more than 3,000 companies in Ukraine during the mass war. Most often, Turkish citizens open businesses – 396 companies or 12.9% of the total.
