Website owners and bloggers working on YouTube will lose access to Google AdSense completely.

The advertising service in the context of Google AdSense will completely reduce its activities on the Russian Internet and disable the accounts of users from Russia. This was reported by The Moscow Times on Monday, August 12.

“We are deactivating all AdSense accounts whose country location is Russia. This means that it is impossible to receive monetization income through such accounts,” the Google Payments team said in a statement.

It is noted that earnings for July will be paid between August 21 and 26, unless the account is suspended from receiving payments and payment limits are reached.

Thus, site owners and bloggers working with YouTube will completely remove access to Google AdSense and the services provided by the advertising network.

Let’s recall that Russia has previously fined Google and TikTok for failing to comply with communications regulator Roskomnadzor’s order on banned content.

In the US, Google is recognized as a monopolist
