Rheinmetall will build eight surgical stations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has ordered the supply of eight additional forward surgical team (FST) stations for the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the German company Rheinmetall. The company itself announced this on Friday, August 9.

The order is part of an initiative by the German federal government. Deliveries will begin in 2024 and end at the end of 2026.

We are talking about eight ready-made systems equipped with the most modern medical equipment, such as an X-ray container, an operating room and an intensive care unit according to the standards of a modern hospital.

Rheinmetall will also provide a mobile transport component for each unit, consisting of three Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles trucks along with trailers.

“Rheinmetall’s medical vehicles are very fast, very quick to operate and meet the highest quality standards.

In addition to the supply of FST stations, it is also planned to conduct a week-long training of relevant Ukrainian personnel in Germany.
