On the interbank market, hryvnia quotes against the dollar were set at 41.01/41.03 UAH/USD, while the euro was 44.76/44.77 UAH/EUR.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) is reducing the official dollar exchange rate for the second day in a row. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, August 6.
Thus, the official exchange rate on August 7 was set at 41.0381 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.1585 UAH).
The euro exchange rate on Wednesday will be 44.7931 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.3543 UAH).
On the interbank foreign exchange market, hryvnia quotes against the dollar were set at 41.01/41.03 UAH/USD, while the euro was 44.76/44.77 UAH/EUR.
We remind you that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
It was also reported that over the past week the structural deficit of foreign currency decreased in the interbank market – the NBU sold $784.63 million. This is 17.4% lower than last week.
