In July 2024, 13.6 million tons of cargo were transported, which is 12% more than last year: in domestic traffic – 6.4 million tons (-22% compared to July 2023); for export – 6.4 million tons (+93% in July 2023); for import – 746,000 tons (+39% in July 2023).

“There is no economic justification for having a large difference in the cost of transportation of goods of different tariff classes, because the infrastructure component (infrastructure maintenance costs) is the same for all goods, ” said the statement.
