Hungary continues to hold the largest share in the electricity import structure – 45%.
Ukraine in July reduced electricity imports by 2% compared to June – to 837.8 thousand MW-hour. No electricity export. This is proven by ExPro Electricity monitoring.
During the month, deliveries from Hungary increased only – by 5.5%, and from Poland – by 10%. In other directions – Slovakia, Moldova, Romania – electricity imports decreased.
Hungary continues to occupy the largest share in the import structure – 45%, Poland is in second place (19%), Romania is in third place (18%).
From July 10 to July 21, during the abnormal heat, the import of electricity from Moldova was temporarily stopped by the decision of the local transmission system operator as part of energy security measures. Also on July 23, there was no electricity import from Slovakia.
The average hourly import capacity in July was 1,126 MW. More electricity was imported at 18:00 – the monthly average was 1,308 MW.
We remind you that electricity consumption has stabilized in Ukraine. No power outages are expected.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation in the energy system has improved, and the most difficult summer period is over.
