Net dollar sales of the National Bank of Ukraine in July increased compared to June and reached $3.316 billion. This is the highest amount since the beginning of the year, the press service of the NBU reports.
Specifically, National Bank sold $3.318 billion during the month, but only bought about $2 million.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the regulator has sold $17.486 billion in the interbank market.
Let us remind you that despite the war, the Ukrainian banking sector is operating steadily. Ukrainians have been putting more deposits in banks over the past three months, and bankers, in turn, are planning to cut interest rates on loans for small and medium-sized businesses.
