In the first half of 2024, the company allocated about 1.5 billion Hryvnia of its own funds for the repair of thermal power plants.
DTEK Company Energy is directing all available resources to restore thermal power plants attacked by Russia to prepare them for the next heating season. The CEO of DTEK said this Energy Ildar Saleev in an interview for TSN.
According to him, the fastest and most effective way to get the thermal power plants back into operation is to connect the quick fix ones to the energy system.
“If it is destroyed, not everything is destroyed. Individual elements or individual equipment are destroyed. To restore the whole system, the whole station, it takes years and years to rebuild everything. So, when there is infrastructure and it is necessary to repair and rebuild within the framework of this infrastructure what blows received certainly require less money and time That is why our main focus is on the restoration of our plants of electricity,” Saleev explained.
He assured that at the beginning of the heating season, all the resources available to the company are specifically aimed at the repair and restoration of thermal power plants. For the first half of 2024 DTEK Energy allocated almost 1.5 billion Hryvnia of its own funds to these needs.
We remind you that since the beginning of this year, Russian attacks have destroyed 90% of the capacity of DTEK’s thermal power plants.
It was also reported that since the start of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has fired more than 180 times on DTEK’s power plants.
