The recall affects some Model 3, Model S, Model X and Model Y vehicles According to the company, the affected vehicles are equipped with a hood latch manufactured in China by Magna Closures Co Ltd.
It’s Tesla’s biggest recall since December, when the company announced it would recall 2.03 million vehicles in the US – or nearly all of its vehicles on US roads at the time – to establish new -safety precautions in its Autopilot system.
It was previously reported that Tesla will recall 125,227 vehicles in the United States due to a malfunction in the seat belt warning system.
