For the first time, large privatization will take place entirely online on the Prozorro.Sales platform.
On Tuesday, July 23, the State Property Fund of Ukraine held a public presentation of the Big Privatization Project – 2024 and named its top five items. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund.
The head of the Fund, Vitaly Koval, emphasized that for the first time in the history of Ukraine, large-scale privatization will take place entirely online on the Prozorro.Sales platform.
“This will ensure equal opportunities for participants through open auctions, we strive to attract effective owners who can modernize businesses and increase their competitiveness in the global market,” he said.
According to him, the successful experience of small privatization, which, after the restoration in September 2022, has already brought more than UAH 5 billion to the state budget, proves the effectiveness of this mechanism for attracting investment.
We top 5 items to put up for auction this year:
-
Hotel Ukraine: 4-star hotel in the center of the capital, starting price – more than 1 billion UAH. The auction will take place on September 18.
