Russia currently supplies oil to Hungary and Slovakia, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak commented on the situation with the cessation of LUKOIL supplies through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline. Russian media reported this on Tuesday, July 23.
“Right now deliveries are being made,” Novak said, without specifying whether deliveries were being made via any other route.
He added that he did not want to comment on the details.
“Currently, the deliveries continue to work to ensure that they will continue and our partners who received oil through Druzhba will continue to receive it,” stressed Novak.
He noted that Russia is interested in the supply of energy resources, especially since Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic have never refused volumes.
