About 4.5 thousand new jobs will be created thanks to the work of three new industrial parks in Volyn, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy on July 5.
The decision to include KOVEL PORTO, Dobrosin and GREEN LAKTIK parks in the Register of Industrial Parks was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 5.
Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaly Kindrativ noted that since the beginning of the year, 16 new industrial parks have been included in the register, which is more than the entire year in 2023 or 2022.
This year, the state budget includes one billion hryvnias for the development of industrial parks.
The industrial park KOVEL PORTO will operate in the city of Kovel. The area of 11.6 hectares will house enterprises in the processing industry – production of finished metal products, machinery and equipment, repair and installation of machinery and equipment, etc. The concept of the park provides for the creation of 587 jobs and investments totaling almost 358 million UAH.
Industrial park Dobrosin, located in the village. Dobrosin, Lviv district, Lviv region. In an area of 27.3 hectares, enterprises in the textile, pharmaceutical and food industries, processing and storage of agricultural products, woodworking, mechanical engineering, etc. The park concept includes the creation of up to 3,300 new jobs.
The GREEN LACTIC industrial park was created in the city of Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The food processing businesses will run on an area of 12 hectares. In particular, for the production of flour and cereals, starch and starch products, other foods and prepared animal feed.
The concept of the park provides for the creation of 600 jobs, investments in the amount of UAH 2.3 billion in the construction of facilities, and UAH 3.1 billion in production equipment.
While by another decision the Cabinet of Ministers excluded the Pavlograd Park from the Register of Industrial Parks.
“The basis for the decision was a letter from the initiator of the creation of the park – the Dnepropetrovsk regional administration,” the press service reported.
