The euro rose in price to a record level in Ukraine

In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by only 1 kopeck, up to 40.71-40.73 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).

The National Bank of Ukraine increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. And the euro exchange rate updated its historical maximum, according to data on the regulator’s website on Monday, July 8.

So, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 40.7000 (+0.1580 UAH). And the euro exchange rate will be 44.0781 UAH (+0.2157 UAH). This is a new all-time high. The highest rate was on June 3 – 43.9850.

In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by only 1 kopeck, up to 40.71-40.73 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.

In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to UAH 41.00.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine’s reserves were reduced for the third month. In June, the National Bank spent about $3 billion to cover the shortage of foreign currency in the market and pay off debts.

Meanwhile, the cash dollar exchange rate rose for the fourth consecutive month. In June, it increased by 1.7% to UAH 40.85.

Also last week, the dollar exchange rate updated its historical record.
