Three power facilities in Kyiv received significant damage as a result of a morning missile attack by Russian aggressors. Energy holder DTEK announced this on Monday, July 8.
“Due to the missile attack on Kyiv, the power grid was damaged and three transformer substations in the Shevchenko and Goloseevsky districts of the capital were completely destroyed or damaged,” it said.
It is indicated that the electrical engineers began to inspect the equipment and restore the power supply immediately after the security situation was resolved.
Most homes will be powered with backup power supply schemes in the near future. At the end of the day, the company will resume normal power service and restore power to all customers.
We remind you that on the morning of July 8, the invaders massively attacked Kyiv with various types of missiles. The air defense shot down most of the targets, but there were losses – more than 20 residents of Kiev were killed and more than 80 were injured.
