The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to 41.00 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 44.20 hryvnia.
The hryvnia continues to lose ground against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Wednesday, July 3.
The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks to 41.00 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to 44.20 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 40.50 UAH, and euros for 43.50 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.80-40.84 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia to a new historical maximum – UAH 40.7476 (+0.1063 UAH). The previous maximum was recorded on June 14 – UAH 40.6908.
The euro exchange rate today will be 43.6977 UAH (+0.0124 UAH).
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers predicts a further increase in the dollar exchange rate. According to the Budget Declaration, in 2025 the average exchange rate will increase by 10% to 45 UAH/dollar. At the same time, the budget for 2024 includes an average exchange rate of 40.7 UAH/dollar and 42.1 UAH/dollar in December.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
