Compared to the end of May, the cash dollar exchange rate decreased by 25 kopecks, and the euro exchange rate by 75 kopecks.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, June 28.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by another 5 kopecks to 40.80 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks to 43.95 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 40.30 UAH, and euros for 43.25 UAH.
“So, compared to the end of May, the exchange rate of the dollar decreased by 25 kopecks, the exchange rate of the euro by 75 kopecks,” the message said.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.46-40.50 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank slightly increased the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia – 40.5374 UAH (+0.0236 UAH). The euro exchange rate today is 43.3547 UAH (-0.0414 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves.
