The regulator increased the dollar’s exchange rate, although the American currency remained stable in the interbank market.
The National Bank of Ukraine slightly increased the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Thursday, June 27.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate on the last working day of the week was set at UAH 40.5374 (+0.0236 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 43.3547 UAH (+0.0414 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency remained stable – 40.49-40.51 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – 40.85 UAH.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves.
