The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell to 40.85 Hryvnia, and the euro fell to 44.00 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the gift and euro in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Thursday, June 27.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks to 40.85 Hryvnia, and the euro decreased by 4 kopecks to 44.00 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices bought dollars for an average of 40.35 UAH, and euros for 43.30 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is now at the level of 40.54-40.57 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 6 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia exchange rate after growing for two consecutive days – 40.5138 UAH (-0.1407 UAH). The euro exchange rate today is 43.3133 UAH (-0.2317 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the growth of the dollar. At the same time, the regulator ensures that the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine remains under control.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves.
