The recall affects certain vehicles from the German automaker’s 2021-2024 Atlas and 2020-2024 Atlas Cross Sport.

Automaker Volkswagen is recalling more than 271,000 vehicles in the United States due to a potential electrical fault that could affect airbag operation. It was reported by Reuters.

It is noted that the recall affects several vehicles from the German automaker Atlas 2021-2024 and Atlas Cross Sport 2020-2024.

A detected electrical malfunction may cause the front passenger airbag to deactivate when the seat is occupied.

Volkswagen dealers said they will replace the sensor mat and wiring harness free of charge for affected customers.

We remind you that Volkswagen has banned Chinese factories from selling cars in the Russian Federation.

It has also been reported that American automaker Tesla is recalling thousands of Cybertruck electric pickup trucks due to a faulty windshield wiper.
