One of the protesters, Alex Russell, can be seen in the video holding a protest sign and reaching out the driver’s side window as the truck moves. He told HuffPost he was trying to oust him from other protesters.

“I have the answer to fight or run,” Russell told HuffPost. “He rolled down the window. I grabbed the back of the window to follow his car and tried to get on the steering wheel. At one point, he grabbed my sign and broke it, and I fell and he hit one of the women.”

Russell said he was “shaken” but he was not hurt. The woman who was taken to the hospital, he said, was “completely bored”.
