The memorandum provides for joint projects in the field of wind energy and the development and modernization of network infrastructure.
DTEK Group and the American GE Vernova entered into a memorandum of understanding to create a stronger and more stable energy system in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian company on Wednesday, June 12.
The memorandum was signed in Berlin within the framework of the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine by the General Director of DTEK Maxim Timchenko and the General Director of Network Solutions at GE Vernova Viktor Kamyshev.
The document provides for joint projects in the field of wind energy and the development and modernization of network infrastructure to increase operational reliability.
There are also plans to work on long-term power generation solutions, such as combined cycle gas plants, to ensure the reliability and flexibility of the Ukrainian power grid.
“Together, our two companies can play an important role in restoring Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, as well as creating a clean and sustainable energy system in the future,” said DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.
Let’s recall that earlier the American company Honeywell and the DTEK group signed an agreement to deepen cooperation for the development of energy infrastructure.
As you know, since the beginning of the war, all DTEK thermal power plants have received major blows and gone through a complete shutdown.
