In May, the volume of monetary purchases of the population of Ukraine reached $2.24 billion equivalent. This is a record figure for at least a year. This was confirmed by data from the National Bank on Monday, June 10.
At the same time, currency sales volumes over the past month remained almost unchanged compared to April – $1.27 billion.
Thus, the volume of monetary purchases of the population in May exceeded the volume of its sales by $1.04 billion.
At the same time, individuals bought non-cash money for $0.39 billion and sold it for $0.32 billion.
