“This support will help achieve our goal – to ensure stable and uninterrupted electricity supply throughout Ukraine,” said Shmyhal.
The funds will go to state energy companies Ukrenergo, Ukrhydroenergo And Ukrnafta for the restoration of building capacities and infrastructure, as well as the construction of new decentralized generation.
It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the EBRD has provided Ukraine with 4 billion euros in funding.
