“The sources of funds that arrive in the bank accounts of a non-resident company, which, among other things, processes bookmaking activities in the territory of the aggressor state, are transfers from financial institutions of Russia and Belarusian,” the statement said.
The materials of the criminal proceedings became the basis for the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to file a claim against the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) for the nationalization of the property of this company.
The pre-trial investigation into the financing of actions taken with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or usurping state power, changing the territorial boundaries or state borders of Ukraine, continues and conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation (Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In this regard, HACS clarified that on May 31, the panel of judges partially satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice against Royal Pay Europe LLC and applied to it the sanction provided for paragraph 1-1 of part 1 of the article 4 of the Law of Ukraine On Sanctions.
VAKS recovered funds in the amount of UAH 53 million, EUR 54,316 and $3.49 million, as well as securities with a nominal value of UAH 1,258,735 thousand and UAH 494,158 thousand as state revenue.
We remind you that Ukraine will sell a sanctioned plant for the first time. The PentoPak company was confiscated from the family of Russian-Greek oligarch Ivan Savvidi. The starting price is 203.7 million hryvnias.
