The publication Kommersant said that foreign factories redirected flows due to a decrease in demand for equipment in Ukraine amid the war.
Household appliances from Bosch, Delonghi and Philips, produced for the Ukrainian market, began to be supplied to Russia. Shipments go through Turkish, Polish and Baltic structures of foreign vendors to maintain positions in the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Russian publication Kommersant.
Experts believe that foreign factories have redirected flows due to a decrease in demand for equipment in Ukraine amid the war.
In Russian marketplaces Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex Market Sales of Bosch household appliances intended for the Ukrainian market have begun, Kuppersberg CEO Dmitry Shashkin told the media.
“We are convinced that the equipment is intended for the Ukrainian market, because we ourselves ordered a Bosch SMV24AX00K dishwasher through a domestic marketplace. The equipment came with Ukrainian stickers.
Shashkin added that supplies of such equipment in the Russian Federation “are very large, because some foreign brands have recommended their Turkish, Polish and Baltic factories to continue supplies in order to maintain their positions in the Russian market .”
The Bosch media model was discovered in M.Video, Citylink, Yandex Market, Holodilnik.ru. The equipment has stamps and stickers with the place of delivery – the city of Kyiv, all the instructions have been translated into Ukrainian, the publication confirms.
Dmitry Khludnev, general director of the household appliance manufacturer Weissgauff, also spoke about the supply of foreign equipment to the Russian Federation intended for the Ukrainian market. According to him, in addition to Bosch, equipment from Italian Delonghi and Dutch Philips is supplied to Russia in a similar way.
The leading managers of electronics stores confirmed the existence of such goods in the Russian Federation: a few months ago, a Turkish distributor offered the chain to buy foreign equipment intended for the Ukrainian market.
In the past, the Russian market was abandoned by the famous Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo and the American pharmaceutical company MSD, which is a supplier in Russia of one of the most popular drugs for the treatment of hepatitis C, Zepatir.
