The miners help remove debris from the stations and perform auxiliary tasks to reduce the time required to restart thermal power plants after Russian attacks.

DTEK company joins mine workers in clearing rubble from thermal power plants attacked by the Russians. DTEK Executive Director Dmitry Sakharuk announced this on air during the national marathon.

“We, for example, involve not only the electrical engineers who are now actively helping to clean up the rubble in the stations and carrying out auxiliary tasks to restore the stations as soon as possible after the outages attack by Russia,” he said.

Sakharuk added that DTEK continues to search for and order equipment in Europe, however, due to the large amount of required equipment, its production may take a long time.

At the same time, the executive director of DTEK emphasized that the company is carrying out work to restore the stations at its own expense.

Earlier, Sakharuk said that in order to restore the energy facilities destroyed by the Nazis, the Ukrainian authorities and energy workers have to find unconventional solutions.
