54% of Peruvians in Segment A arrive at the fair at the end of the month.

Rising prices affect not only the lower socio-economic strata, but also those Peruvian which are part of sectors A and B, according to a study by Activa Peru.

Now, 54% of higher-income Peruvians indicate that the money they earn each month is enough to cover their household expenses, including basic services, education, rent, credit card payments and more.

The situation quickly deteriorated, as the report indicated that only in March of this year, victims of A-segment they represented only 29% of this layer.

In the case of consumers in segment B, income reaches only 53%, while a few months ago such losses were 45%.

This situation of uncertainty and High prices means that more and more upper-class Peruvians no longer have a surplus for savings or for contingencies. In other words, the ability to maintain and provide the forecasting that distinguishes these segments is being lost,” Hilario Chong Shing, customer service manager for the consulting firm, told the Gestión newspaper.

AFP and CTS output

Given this economic situation, the report indicates that Peruvians in Layers A and B are most planning to withdraw their AFPs and/or CTSs.

In Segment A, 84% plan to withdraw AFP, and 83% will pay KTS.

At socioeconomic level B, 66% will exit pension funds and 68% indicate they will request money from their CTS soon.

Overall, the survey shows that 59% of members AFP they will draw a new conclusion and 67% of formal workers will withdraw their CTS.

It is worth noting that, according to the report, 32% of affiliates who leave the AFP will use this money for household expenses, 15% will use it to start up or invest in a business, and 13% will pay bank loans or credit cards.

According to KTS31% will use the withdrawal for household expenses, 18% for education and training, 16% for payments and bank fees, and 14% for medical expenses.
