The restrictions will affect American companies General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, General Dynamics Land Systems and Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

China has sanctioned three US defense companies over arms sales to Taiwan after its new president was inaugurated. It was reported on Monday, May 20, by AFP and Reuters news agencies.

Now the American companies General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, General Dynamics Land Systems and Boeing Defense, Space & Security are prohibited from conducting “import-export” business in China.

Top executives of all companies are banned from entering China. Their work permits will be revoked and their visitor status and residence requests will not be approved.

Lai Qingde was sworn in as Taiwan’s president, marking the start of a historic third consecutive term for the island’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party, which has championed democracy despite years of growing threats from authoritarian China.

Let’s recall that the US State Department has advised China to stop supporting Russia in its war against Ukraine if Beijing hopes to continue productive relations with Europe.
