The German defense concern Rheinmetall intends to open a joint production of air defense systems in Ukraine. Related statement Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger did the day before.
In particular, he announced at the annual general meeting that they plan to create another joint venture with Ukraine in the field of air defense.

Papperger also said that the previously promised 40 Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine before September of this year.
