The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to UAH 40.05, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 43.25.
The hryvnia exchange rate began to fall again against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Tuesday, May 14.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks, up to 40.05 UAH, the euro exchange rate also increased by 10 kopecks – 43.25 UAH.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 39.55 UAH, and a euro for 42.55 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.70-39.75 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 3 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The previous day, the National Bank of Ukraine reduced the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia to the level of 39.6196 UAH (-0.1010 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.7495 UAH (-0.0653 UAH).
We remind you that last Friday the National Bank raised the official exchange rate of the euro to a new historical maximum.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has increased sales of foreign currency in the interbank market to more than $530 million.
