The official exchange rate of the dollar fell, although in the interbank market the American currency rose to the price of 9 kopecks.
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia after its growth for three days in a row. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, May 13.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 39.6196. for 1 dollar (-0.1010 UAH). The euro also fell slightly in price and will cost UAH 42.7495 (-0.0653 UAH).
Meanwhile, on the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose by 9 kopecks, to 39.66-39.72 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate remained stable – 39.95 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that last Friday the National Bank raised the official exchange rate of the euro to a new historical maximum.
It was also reported that over the past week the NBU has increased sales of foreign currency in the interbank market to more than $530 million.
