In the week from May 6 to May 10, the National Bank of Ukraine bought 150 thousand dollars in the interbank market, while selling 533.6 million dollars. This is confirmed by NBU statistics.
So, from April 29 to May 3, National Bank sold $533 million, which is $25 million more than last week. At the same time, 150 thousand dollars were bought, which is 90 thousand less than last week.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the National Bank sold $9 billion, while it bought $105 million.
We remind you that the exchange rate of the Hryvnia accelerated its decline against the dollar and the euro in the cash market. The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to UAH 39.95, and the euro increased to UAH 43.05.
It was also reported that in April, Ukraine’s international reserves fell 3.1% to $42.4 billion after a historic high.
